Hello kitty clients welcome to the April 2025 mewsletter! Today covers the usual availability alongside some semi-big news which affects the business and how you guys will be reading updates about us going forwards.
Walking away from Social Media
You might have already seen this on Facebook and Instagram, but we’re taking a step back from those platforms. There are both personal and business reasons behind this.
Personally, I’ve found that most major social media sites can be quite draining. The way algorithms work, they tend to push sensational and negative content, and I found myself getting caught in the “doomscrolling” loop. Even with limited use, it was affecting my mood. Since deleting the apps from my devices, I’ve felt much better mentally!
On the business side, it’s really about reach and engagement. We’ve always relied on organic reach and word-of-mouth, and we’ll continue to do so. (Please, if you see any ads for us, report them! We don’t pay for advertising.) While we appreciate our small community on Facebook and Instagram, it hasn’t really grown much, and our website traffic shows that Google is driving almost all of our visitors. From day one, Google has been our biggest source of click-throughs and customer referrals, with recommendations coming in second. So, we’ve decided to focus our energy on running Moggy Daycare and keeping our website and SEO strong.
We’re truly grateful for all your support on social media, but we need to focus on what works best for us and the business.
PS: Updates will still be sent to clients via WhatsApp Business as it is merely a messaging service not a social platform for me. If I decide to change how updates are sent you will be notified with plenty of notice 🙂

Summer Warnings
It’s early days I know but I absolutely MUST start sounding the warning horn for those of you who wish to book me over Summer this year. Booking earlier rather than later is a MUST to guarantee a booking slot so please please do message me ASAP about availability even if it is only a provisional to begin with. I’d hate to turn registered clients away because they left it too late!
A more detailed breakdown of booking slots will be provided nearer the time.
