Hello kitty clients, Adam here with an important update about our weekend cat sitting that I wanted to share with you all.
Weekend Service Changes
After much consideration, I’ve made the decision to alter my working schedule slightly to better support my wellbeing. Starting immediately, weekend visits (Saturdays and Sundays) will be morning visits only.
Here are the key details you need to know:
What’s Changing:
- Saturday and Sunday visits will be morning only (similar to how we operate Christmas Day and Boxing Day)
- Prices remain unchanged – weekend bookings will continue at the standard rate according to our 2025 Pricing
- Existing bookings are not affected – any weekend bookings you’ve already made will continue as originally scheduled
- Only fresh bookings made from now onwards will be subject to this new arrangement
What’s Staying the Same:
- Monday through Friday service remains completely unchanged with both morning and afternoon visits available
- All pricing remains at current 2025 rates
- The same high-quality, loving care your fur babies have come to expect
Why This Change?
I want to be completely transparent with you all. Currently, I make myself available 7 days a week, nearly 52 weeks a year, and while I absolutely love what I do and caring for your feline family members, it’s reached a point where I need to prioritise my mental health and wellbeing.
This small adjustment will allow me to have quality time with my own family and friends on weekend afternoons, which is essential for maintaining the energy and enthusiasm I bring to caring for your cats every day.
Alternative Solutions for Weekend Afternoon Care
If you typically book weekend afternoon visits, here are some purr-fectly good alternatives to ensure your kitties are well-fed:
Automatic Timer Feeders: These devices can be programmed to dispense meals at specific times, ensuring your cat gets their afternoon meal even when I’m not there. They’re particularly useful for cats on regular feeding schedules.
Gravity Food Dispensers: These provide a continuous supply of dry food that your cat can access as needed. Perfect for cats who self-regulate their eating and ideal for weekend periods.
Both options can help bridge the gap for weekend afternoon feeding, giving you peace of mind while maintaining your cat’s routine.
Important Note for Droitwich Clients
This service change does NOT affect clients in Droitwich. Tim continues to manage all Droitwich bookings and services, so your weekend visits (both morning and afternoon) will continue exactly as they always have.
