Hello kitty clients welcome to the July edition of the Moggy Daycare Mewsletter! As we head into the heart of summer, I hope you and your feline family are staying cool and comfortable. This month brings some important updates about availability, a heads-up about the upcoming heatwave, and an early Christmas reminder that’ll help you plan ahead.
Important Client Capacity Update
Due to my active client database being at capacity and the incredibly busy summer period ahead, I am temporarily closing new client registrations from today until the beginning of September. I could very easily take on more people, but I don’t wish to work myself to a point where it is unhealthy for both me and the quality of care your fur babies deserve.
For all my wonderful existing registered clients – you’re absolutely fine! Simply get in touch via WhatsApp or email as usual for any July bookings.
July 2025 availability (Worcester only)
Here’s your week-by-week breakdown for July availability. Remember, all weeks begin on a Monday and these slots are available to currently registered clients only:
| Dates | Availability |
|---|---|
| June 30th-July 6th | Slots available |
| July 7th-July 13th | Limited slots avaliable |
| July 14th-July 20th | Limited slots avaliable |
| July 21st-July 27th | Limited slots avaliable |
| July 28th-August 3rd | Slots available |
As you can see, the first and last weeks of July offer your best chances for securing those summer holiday bookings. I highly recommend booking at your earliest convenience to avoid disappointment!
Droitwich visits are still open for bookings but are operating on a case-by-case basis so I am unable to post up availability. Just contact us!

Beat the Heat: Keeping Your Cats Cool
With another heatwave expected in the coming weeks, here are some purr-fect tips to help keep your kitty clients comfortable:
Essential cooling tips:
- Ensure plenty of fresh water is available at all times – consider multiple water stations
- Keep curtains or blinds closed during the hottest parts of the day
- Provide cool, tiled surfaces for your cats to lie on (bathroom floors are often favorites!)
- Avoid over-grooming during – their fur actually helps regulate temperature
- Watch for signs of overheating: excessive panting, lethargy, or seeking cool spots
During my visits, I’ll be extra vigilant about ensuring your cats have access to cool areas and fresh water, so you can relax knowing they’re in safe paws.
Christmas 2025 – Early Planning Essential!
I know it seems early to be thinking about Christmas, but I wanted to give you a proper heads-up: Christmas bookings will be very limited this year. After an incredibly busy year, I’m planning to take a step back for some well-deserved downtime over the festive period.
If you’re hoping to book cat care over Christmas and New Year, please get in touch sooner rather than later. I’ll be offering significantly fewer slots than usual, so early birds will definitely catch the worm (or should I say, catch the booking!).
Get In Touch!
If you’re one of our beloved existing clients, simply hit us up on WhatsApp or shoot us an email with your delightful requests. For those not yet part of our feline-loving family, I’m currently not taking new registrations until September, but feel free to head over to our enquiry form for future consideration.
For clients needing immediate alternative care during this busy period, I highly recommend contacting other local cat sitters who come with my endorsement.
Meow-tastic regards,
Adam
