Cat Sitting Worcester
Hello kitty clients welcome to the November edition of the Moggy Mewsletter!
I hope this finds you and your feline family members doing wonderfully well. I’ve just returned from a lovely break in South Wales – we stayed near Saundersfoot, so we were never far from the sea at any point. It was absolutely lovely and relaxing, and I’m feeling refreshed and ready to look after all your gorgeous fur babies!

Bonfire Night: Keeping Your Cats Calm
With Bonfire Night upon us and fireworks likely to continue for the next week or so, I wanted to share some helpful tips for keeping your cats as calm as possible during this stressful period:
Before the fireworks start:
- Create a safe space – Set up a quiet room with their favourite hiding spots, blankets, and familiar scents
- Close windows and curtains – This helps muffle the sounds and blocks out the flashing lights
- Play calming music or white noise – Background sounds can help mask the bangs and pops outside
During fireworks:
- Don’t force interaction – Let your cat hide if they want to; it’s their coping mechanism
- Act normally – Cats pick up on our stress, so staying calm yourself really helps
- Keep them indoors – Make sure all windows and doors are secure, even if your cat usually goes outside
- Provide distractions – Interactive toys or puzzle feeders can help keep their minds occupied
Helpful products:
- Feliway diffusers can work wonders for creating a calm environment
- Pet Remedy sprays are also worth trying
- Some cats respond well to anxiety wraps or calming treats
Remember, every cat is different – what works for one might not work for another, so don’t worry if you need to try a few approaches!
