Award Winning Professional Cat Sitting in Worcester & Droitwich, Worcestershire

Moggy Mewsletter March-April 2026

Hello kitty clients! It has been a while but I am back with a new blog update for the business!

2026 has been a…shall we say challenging time for myself and my family. We’ve had health scares. Additionally, a new job has made life a lot busier for us. On that note, I shall elaborate on the job part!

Adams second job and the future of availability

This year, or at least the beginning of it, has been a little rough for us here at Moggy Daycare. I have noticed a pretty obvious drop in bookings. This situation has made me make the tough decision to get a second job to guarantee income for the household. The second job is at a school. As you can imagine, I am now locked to work based on the school term schedules. During term time, I will take on less workload than usual. I simply do not have the time to do visits, especially in the PM.

However this will mean two things will happen during school/national holiday periods:

  1. I will be able to take on the usual/increased booking load.
  2. I will have to take holiday during school breaks.

Taking holidays during school breaks is a tough one. That time is essentially my “bread and butter” for cat sitting income. But, now I have my second job, I don’t need to worry about it so much. So I suggest you get in touch ASAP if you take your holidays during school breaks. This way, you can avoid being let down. I am looking to sort out my downtime very soon before I am unable to.

We did have John helping us at the end of last year. However, wages are expensive. As I mentioned above, the bookings haven’t been flowing in. So, I unfortunately had to let him go.

Weekend bookings will remain locked to AM only. Unless you had prior bookings last year for 2026, they remain as booked. This arrangement gives me some natural needed downtime.

Availability and blog updates

Due to the job change mentioned above, I will no longer be providing regular availability updates on a monthly basis. Instead, I am opting for a more seasonal approach to let you know my availability. Many of you have used my services for years now. You are very aware of my busy times and know when to book.

For the foreseeable future, Worcester is still not taking on new clients. I simply do not have the spare time to do essential initial meetings prior to starting people. This means that registered clients should find it easier to get the bookings they need. It allows me to predict when I will be at my busiest. However, I will consider opening up my books to new clients later in the year. This decision will depend on what the bookings flow looks like.

I think that covers everything, if you do have any questions regarding my services then please do feel free to drop me a message via WhatsApp and I hope to hear from you soon :).
