I’ve been meaning to write this out for about two weeks now but you know, that thing called Christmas came around and I got delayed by cats, food and good company haha!
Today’s post will be more informational than anything else, reminding you about things like next year’s price increases as well as the “pop-in” rate for summer.
Of course the usual availability for the upcoming month(s) will be here too so if you need to know if I am free for dates you’re away just scroll on down.
2023 Price Increases
With the new year comes new prices and this is something I have honestly tried not to do because of things like the energy price increases and fuel prices. However I have had to do so and I sent out a mass-email to everyone on our books a number of months ago and you were all so lovely about it! I feel very blessed to have you all as clients so thank you for the support!
With that, please see below the prices and rate multipliers for 2023:
Standard Cat Sitting visit (up to 30mins) for up to 3x cats: £12 per visit
“Pop-in” Cat Sitting visit (up to 15mins) for up to 3x cats: £9 per visit
For each additional cat above 3 per household: £1.75 per additional cat
Public Holiday Rate (Bank Holidays, national holidays, etc): 1.5x standard price (£18 per visit)
Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Eve Rate: 2x standard price (£24 per visit)
Key collection &/or Key drop-off charge: £4
Service Changes
“Pop-in” Visits (new visit type, exclusive to summer 2023 bookings)
To help aid with the energy price increase (and my sanity trying to fit everyone into my schedule at 30mins a time) I will be introducing a new visit type which will be exclusive to summer 2023 bookings called a “pop-in” visit. These visits will be only usable between the dates of 25th July 2023-1st September 2023 and are max 15min visits where I come in and do the basics of what is needed (fresh food, water and litter if required) and then moving onto the next appointment. If you already have a booking with me during summer 2023 and wish to alter your booking to have these in it then please let me know, you can mix these visits with the standard ones (e.g. 1 x standard visit, 1 x pop in visit) or have a booking entirely of these shorter visits. You may also find these visits might be great for those of you with outdoor cats who rarely come inside apart from when it’s food time and that’s absolutely fine!
But I must stress that this is a trial and I will only be offering it during the dates mentioned in the above paragraph, so please don’t ask me for a pop-in visit booking during April 2023! That being said if it proves popular I may bring it back for 2024 during national holidays, summer and Christmas/New Year.
Note: This visit type will not be applicable to cats that need any medication beyond adding to food (e.g.injections/pill by mouth).
Service Area Changes
To help me manage my visits better, I will be altering the service zone for myself (Worcester) to only include Worcester City, I will be re-doing the service maps on the pricing page to reflect this so be on the lookout for that, I’ll also put a link to it on the next Mewsletter.
2023 Closure Dates
To help my sanity (?) I have finally booked some proper days off for myself next year, these are listed on the Official Closure Dates page but for quick reference there are as follows:

Prestige Pet Services (https://www.prestigepetservicesworcester.com/): A small team of highly dedicated Dog Walkers & Pet Sitters, Annabelle runs a very tight ship and is fantastic with all animals! We have even used them to look after our two cats and they were great!
Summer 2023 Warning
Yes yes I know it’s not even 2023 yet and here I am giving you 6 MONTHS warning about Summer bookings!
I have already taken a good amount of future bookings from clients for 2023 and Summer 2023 (July-September) is no exception and it is already starting to look busy so if you haven’t thought about booking my services for when you go away on your summer holiday, I STRONGLY suggest you do so to prevent disappointment!
As for the rest of 2023, dates at present are looking very good at present so just see below on how to contact me :).

As a final thing…THANK YOU so much for being such amazing clients, it’s obvious to say but I honestly wouldn’t be able to do this as my full-time job if it wasn’t for you all coming back to me time and time again! It really does mean a lot to me and I hope to continue seeing your fur babies long into 2023 and beyond!
