We have officially pounced into 2026, and while the decorations might be coming down, the “purr-sonal” care at Moggy Daycare is only ramping up. We hope you all had a wonderful festive season. December was a whirlwind of festive visits, and seeing your cats enjoy their “treat-filled” stockings was the highlight of our holiday.
As we look ahead to the rest of the month, we have some important updates regarding our 2026 pricing and some essential advice for keeping your cats safe during the forecasted UK “polar plunge.”
2026 Pricing Structure Update
As previously mentioned in our December newsletter, our new pricing structure is now officially in effect for all new bookings made after 26th November 2025.
We are committed to providing top-quality, reliable care for your cats while keeping our rates fair. Here is a reminder of the 2026 rates for Worcester and Droitwich Spa:

Cat Care Tip of the Month: The January Freeze ❄️
With the UK forecast predicting a particularly biting cold snap this January, it’s time to double-check our winter cat safety. Here are our top tips for the “Polar Plunge”:
- Check the Paws: If your cat does venture outside, salt and grit used on roads can irritate their paw pads. Give them a gentle wipe with a damp cloth when they come back in.
- The “Bonnet Tap”: Outdoor cats often seek warmth under car bonnets or in wheel arches. Always give your car bonnet a firm tap before starting the engine.
- Boost the Bedding: Ensure beds are away from draughts and slightly raised off cold floors. If you have an elderly cat, a pet-safe microwaveable heat pad can be a lifesaver for stiff joints.
- Keep Water Fresh: Outdoor water bowls can freeze over in minutes during a cold snap. Ensure your cat has multiple indoor water sources to stay hydrated.
